A simple personal-care tool for gently clearing surface coating from the tongue as part of an everyday oral-hygiene ritual. Some people enjoy the cleaner-mouth feeling it can provide after brushing.

Use light pressure, rinse the scraper after each pass and clean it after use. Stop if it causes pain, bleeding or irritation.

A tongue scraper does not treat bad breath, cavities, gum disease, infection, digestive concerns or immune conditions, and it does not replace brushing, interdental cleaning or dental care. Persistent bad breath, pain, bleeding, swelling, loose teeth or other oral-health concerns need advice from a dentist or other appropriate clinician.
